K12 Parent Portal Customer Insights

1. Not very user friendly when press back button in app it closes the app should add the functionality there as wellMy credentials will not work on the app but do online, so I cannot upload the rest of the paperwork to finish enrollment! I have also tried to sign in as new user but I never recieved the code, I have since it multiple times, I even uninstalled and reinstalled....Not happyI isnt opening properly.

2. The app that is great is K12 too, but it is light blue with a book and yellow and white blocks coming out of the book.Always Shows Network connection error on my Mobile.. All other Apps are working properly.

3. also the app itself is good but would be great if it provides an interface to communicate with the school - share information, feedback etc.

5. When trying to sign up through the app it never would send the verification to my phone.Don't receive notification, should at least ask for notification settings also.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix K12 Parent Portal Issues

1. Fix K12 Parent Portal Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart K12 Parent Portal: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the K12 Parent Portal App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "K12 Parent Portal" » Open K12 Parent Portal » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for K12 Parent Portal » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear K12 Parent Portal app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from K12 Parent Portal servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "K12 Parent Portal" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check K12 Parent Portal app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, K12 Parent Portal might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall K12 Parent Portal. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall K12 Parent Portal then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing K12 Parent Portal not working
