Why should I report an Issue with Lookout for Work?

3. Lookout offers the best protection against mobile threats to keep your device safe.

4. This protection helps prevent users from visiting a website that can compromise the safety of their device and data.

5. This app is only for business users enrolled in the Lookout for Work program.

1. And there's no good reason given for wanting the location permission either or the storage permission, just some vague statement about "keeping your device safe." I've used VPN's and other security apps before and they don't require all these permissions.Useless!!! EATS up so much background processing and battery that I had to uninstall the entire corporate suite because they mandated the use of this garbage... I would never use this on any device ever.

2. It works on Droid and Apple.Useless. This tool doesn't detect my chromebook's password, it erroneously reports my device as non compliant and it blocks all dependent apps.

3. It also compromises so much privacy and security by inspecting all of your data and sending it over a network....Constantly stays running in the background and requires too many permissions for any level of comfort.

4. So reading the response I see there is no response other than reach out ! Id rather the app was just compatible with the outlook app installed on my phone, its not my job to fix things for you.Hamburger ? really ? youve got to be joking right?Way too many permissions required.

5. I'm not giving an app permission to access *all the files on my phone* in order to "keep me and device safe".

6. I'd rather just not use work related apps on my phone than have to use this app.Needs improvement it just doesn't meet my expectations.

8. What are we looking out for if your app is so primitive and work makes this app mandatory to connect to LAN.Really good App with a very consistent VPN & security.

9. The web management portal is a bit basic and when phone content is blocked, there is no way of knowing if it's a false-positive but the core features are solid.

10. I could never get it to authenticate, it would make me log in multiple times and then finally when I got it "correct" I couldn't open the admin dashboard... it would show a blank screen and then kick me back to home page... if the app can't even get the dashboard correct.

1. Fix Lookout Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Lookout: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Lookout App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lookout" » Open Lookout for Work » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lookout » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Lookout for Work app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lookout servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lookout for Work" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Lookout app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lookout might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Lookout. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lookout then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lookout not working

2. Fix Lookout Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lookout be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lookout not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lookout may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
