1. And after connecting with fellow musicians, it seems to be a common problem for anyone trying to use the android app.Like most other reviews I've read, the idea is great and the amp (V60) is awesome, but it just doesn't work most of the time.
2. Could have spent it on a few sets of strings and a couple CTS pots for my budget build... I sincerely hope that the bugs get worked out because I really enjoyed the time I did get to play with the features, and I hope that Line 6 decides to do away with that USB B port for Android phones and just goes with the regular C style port.
3. I just wish you didn't have to get extra parts to connect an Android device too, but that is Line 6 is fault.
4. Which ones? Anyone, any other app is better than this one, same for thr Line6 Website, probably came from the same confused mind (yes, you).Works great w the amp and makes changing effects and editing them a lot quicker.
5. For these reasons I've dropped my 5 initial stars to 3 and edited my review.........This was my first time ever trying to connect my amp to a cloud.
6. It's best to have both an Apple and Android device connected since these problems exist in my experience. The android app is completely unusable.
7. It is specifically why I bought Line 6 in the first place after hearing about the cloud capability from other guitarists.
8. One thing that sets the Apple app and this one apart is the Android app doesn't freeze like that Apple app does.
9. They should have made the usb the same for both Apple and Android devices to be connected in the same port, and then have another for computer hookup.
10. Even trying to browse the cloud tones you get an "invalid token" error without explanation of what's being missed.
11. But for some incomprehensible reason the Android app left this function out.Great amp but the app disconnects at random.
