1. App is useless if it doesn't work !App keeps popping up over any/all other things on my screen with the message "Great Call has stopped.

2. Those updates are the purpose for having this device, and they are completely useless.It isn't working on my Android pie phone at all.

3. While I highly recommend the actual great call service, the app needs a lot of work still.Worked well at first, but keeps getting errors.

4. After reinitializing the device with customer support, I am upgrading this app to 3 stars because the location report is always very slow and can be easily a half hour behind as much as 1/4 Mile off in its position.

5. It isnt reliable at all.Would be perfect if you could have customs questions, such as, did you charge your phone today? A lot of people with these phones are seniors and/or have dementia, so basic things like remembering to charge can be a challenge.

6. The reporting that the user has pushed the button is however very timely.Map works, but location updates do not.

7. Makes me question if my mom's device is really working or just a dummy button providing false sense of security.

8. Even after multiple app updates, they have barely scratched the surface.App used to work great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lively Link Issues

1. Fix Lively Link Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lively Link: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lively Link App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lively Link" » Open Lively Link » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lively Link » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lively Link app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lively Link servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lively Link" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lively Link app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lively Link might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lively Link. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lively Link then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lively Link not working


2. Fix Lively Link Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lively Link be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lively Link not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lively Link may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
