Uninstalled the app and can still use the remote just fine, all my other devices, including those mentioned above work perfectly now; so I still love my fireplace, just not with the wifi and app.Nov 6 2019 I accidentally opened the app and to my disbelief the app works once again! I email them months ago with no response but the app finally works on my fireplace.

Iam not sure why so many could not get the wifi to work for the app,I just followed the direction & worked first try.Worked great for me, no problems installing and connecting but, unfortunately it caused a lot of issues with other devices (my Roku devices, LG soundbars, and bbq thermometers to list a few) causing them not being able to connect properly to my wifi.

3. Good thing too cuz the remote the fireplace came with has poor range and poor reliability.excellent. selected anderson 2018, took me a few min to figure out the center button on the app instead of touching it you slide it.

4. The app works and much like other devices I own (wifi light switches) you have to get them on the network the right way just once then they run forever.App is useless! It tells me to check my wifi connection and try again.

5. so much better tham the very confusing remote that came with the fireplace....still have not figured out there junk remote so I gave up and just use this app that give visual feedback on what you are doing unlike the remote where you have to guess.

6. I can now turn on my fireplace!!! This is a big improvement! The timer still doesnt work for me, but its working to turn the system on/off.

7. The app doesn't do anything that the remote cannot do so I will use the product as is, but basically it is false advertising IMO.After reading the first few reviews, I wasn't optimistic about this app working.

8. Even rebooted and updated my router and rebooted my phone and still doesn't work.

9. I do appreciate it - Thank you!!!I've found that in order to connect, I had to switch to 2.5hz (or whatever) on my WiFi.

1. Fix FEBO Link Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FEBO Link: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FEBO Link App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FEBO Link" » Open FEBO Link » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FEBO Link » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FEBO Link app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FEBO Link servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FEBO Link" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FEBO Link app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FEBO Link might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FEBO Link. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FEBO Link then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FEBO Link not working

2. Fix FEBO Link Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FEBO Link be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FEBO Link not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FEBO Link may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
