1. When using it for a foreign language video with no subtitles, it works about as well as a damp match in a wet cave.When watching foreign videos on my phone and running Translate at the same time the mic only runs for a few seconds then cuts out.

2. Much of the time it will skip entire portions of text and only translate a few words when there's obviously more text.

3. Most important, when I paste text into the translator and it is set to auto detect, have the output translation automatically change to the other language and not the same as detected.Have used for so many years.

5. But my problem is that once I paste a link to be translated and it's done, the "paste" icon is stuck there and I have no clue on how to delete it! This problem has been reported several times to you guys by a lot of users but you still haven't added the delete option for the pesky paste icon.

6. Overall a huge downgrade and not worth using anymore.This app is usually really good, but all of a sudden, whenever I try to translate an image, it does nothing because the image is blurry.

7. I've forcestopped it twice, deleted it, and reinstalled it, but nothing seems to work.The text, the camera, the conversation translations work fine for me.

8. Why must I hide the keyboard to reverse translate or to copy the text.

9. After the most recent update, it auto-translates an entire photo and you cannot select individual text.

10. Other than that works great and translations, according to some of my Hispanic employees are about 90% accurate or better.This app used to work great.

11. The camera portion was great, as it had a highlight function and would let you pick out individual words (like an OCR).

1. Fix Google Translate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Google Translate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Google Translate App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Google Translate" » Open Google Translate » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Google Translate » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Google Translate app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Google Translate servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Google Translate" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Google Translate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Google Translate might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Google Translate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Google Translate then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Google Translate not working

2. Fix Google Translate Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Google Translate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Google Translate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Google Translate may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
