1. There are possibly many reasons why your bridge is not available to our Hue apps. • Your smartphone is connecting to the SAME WIFI with Bridge. • Your Bridge has all the lights on. • You can connect to your Bridge with original Hue app from Philips or any other Hue relating apps.

2. Especially for color changing effects, Hue Bridge can't serve all the request at high speed without Hue Entertainment.

3. For action movie, it's best to use fastest sync speed to keep the lights up with your fast chaning movie scenes.

4. Why your light bulbs are out of sync for some effects?

5. Because of the hardware limitation on Hue Bridge (as described below), there are out-of-sync for some effects.

6. You can utlize slow sync speed to avoid flooding your Philip Hue system.

1. Other than that, probably worth the $1 I spent.Looks promising but doesn't work Connected to my bridge as many other customers said, and as they said, it says no bulbs connected although they work fine, and no options to connect themfor all saying cant add bulbs, that arrow thing pointing up.

2. I fine tuned the Entertainment area first then I used my old Pixel 2 XL and a flexible goose neck phone holder to get the positioning right because if you have to zoom at all it won't work right.

3. Use my camera to sync my lights to the TV??? I've never thought I've wasted 99 cents but alas I havei can't connect my lights.

4. Save your money it's not really worth the dollar 😂 Using a cam to sync is not a good option trust me you will get sick of it quickly.

5. I tend to just get flashes of color, but mostly the lights stay off.As others in the reviews, it says that i have no lights selected.

6. Feels like this app is randomly changing colors just because, so it makes it awkward when the phone picks up a brighter color than on TV.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HUE Camera App Issues

1. Fix HUE Camera App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HUE Camera App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HUE Camera App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HUE Camera App" » Open HUE Camera App - Philips Hue » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HUE Camera App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HUE Camera App - Philips Hue app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HUE Camera App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HUE Camera App - Philips Hue " » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HUE Camera App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HUE Camera App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HUE Camera App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HUE Camera App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HUE Camera App not working
