What users are saying

1. I change my location to the middle of the Atlantic before using the app now.The preset mood lights, or scenes are really, really cool, however there should be a more intricate system for the speed at which the lights move cuz you can't choose if they flash, or if they slide in and fade from one to the other, or go out of sequence, etc.

2. I have them in the bucket lights of my bedroom and it adds for a very visceral effect.App is intuitive and easy to use, but requires location permissions initially to locate/connect new bulbs, as well as to interact with bulbs that have already been connected for some reason.

3. It would be nice if you could group a few separate lights on the main screen so that you can turn them on/off/dim with one control, just like the actual Philips remote control wall switch.

4. Edit: the timer feature has something that can loosely approximate this (set a timer to go off at a certain time and set "when timer goes off" to custom) but the timers turn themselves off each time and have to be manually turned back on.

5. Finally, a widget that would allow you to turn bulbs on/off or select scenes would be great.

6. There are pretty basic automated turn on/off functions that you can set like alarms or timers, but they must be reset after each use and there are no options for color/brightness.

7. My lights definitely work, but initially they connect with the app, but if I turn them off and then try to turn them on again they don't connect and that's it.

8. Really very sad that there aren't more robust options, as I think it wouldn't even be hard to program. My lights keep turning on and off while the app tried unsuccessfully to update.

9. Yes, you can move them into groups on the color temperature page, but it doesn't appear that you can name the groups. It works well, but it doesn't realize the full potential of what the bulbs could do.

10. Overall, would buy aFor the most part this app works well, pairing with the lights was easy and control is smooth.

11. I can change the lighting manually individually but if I try to use different preset options it won't let me.
