1. I love the choice of vendors a d categories are so helpful, the best? I can add a like to an item from a site that maybe isn't part of elfster!While I agree with others that the concept is great, it is really difficult to add specific items to your wish list through the app.

2. It's not easy to add items to a wish list in that there's extremely limited filter features, yes, you can copy a link for another site but a lot of times it doesn't populate a picture of the item.

3. I use a Samsung s9 phone.Really convenient to have this in a mobile friendly format, keep me logged in, and send push notifications of updates to my Exchange! Only thing I wish for is Etsy connection to be included in filters, and for the search function within Etsy connection at both website and app to be a little more clear on it's searchability.

I haven't had too many problems with the app, but it's missing some features the website has like rearranging the order of items in your wishlist, choosing which photo you want displayed with the item, and being able to write your own text if linking is too difficult for some.Good app to manage the drawing of names and such.

1. Fix Elfster Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Elfster: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Elfster App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Elfster" » Open Elfster: The Secret Santa App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Elfster » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Elfster: The Secret Santa App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Elfster servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Elfster: The Secret Santa App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Elfster app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Elfster might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Elfster. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Elfster then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Elfster not working

2. Fix Elfster Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Elfster be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Elfster not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Elfster may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
