1. A university research study published in the Journal of Pediatric Pharmacology and Therapeutics found that after less than 10 minutes of training, the use of the SafeDose system increased the accuracy of medication doses prepared during simulated pediatric emergencies by nearly 25 percent, and completely eliminated clinically significant errors.
2. The research also showed that use of the hospital version of SafeDose, as compared to traditional processes, reduced the time required to prepare medication during an emergency.

1. The ems free version works well for PALS type scenarios.Honestly I've had this application for about two years as a compliment to the Broselow tape I carry in my pocket while on duty and have rarely opened or used the application.
2. I have other FREE applications and $0.99 and $1.99 per YEAR apps as well that work just fine for me on my phone that I utilize for pediatric events and refuse to pay that much of a monthly fee for a seldom used application.
3. I will update if I fiscover there is more to this.I finally figured out how to get the ems free version to work.
4. It tells me that 360mg is 9% over when 360mg is appropriate for a 36kg child at 10mg/kg.
5. paid version, it's not clear because it states it after the user ID box.
6. I will be deleting the app from my phone today,,,,,sorry.Removed most common drugs.
7. For example... For a 36 kg patient I select Motrin which is 10mg/kg.
8. I watched a youtube video about the app and cannot do the things it shows.
9. it's near-worthless.better in a groupAs a pedi nurse I am reviewing this app.
10. I purchased a subscription and still see less than 100 meds.
11. I followed the in-app links to register and see more and got nothing.
