DEWALT Tool Connect Customer Insights

1. This has been as big a problem as the tools getting stolen.Last update stopped my connectors from working, now I cannot use my tools until I can get the Bluetooth connectors removed.

2. It's practically useless, to me, because I work in Stucco buildings and gett no reception, most of the time, so I can't have the app and drill Bluetoothed, because my drill will not work if I have no reception, which renders me unable to do my job.

3. Last time I messaged support it took a week to get a reply for a different issue.

4. Either it pairs or not! Either way, battery will pair directly with when iding bluetooth setting of phone (so we know bluetooth works, the battery is sending etc.), but wont pair inside the app.

5. Gordon and the rest of the crew get 5 stars as well.Test your software before you release it! "Cannot pair at this time, please try again later" what an idiotic message.

6. Even after their last update now none of my tools connect at all so now it's virtually useless.

7. I also used the app to identify my drill when someone else on a job site claimed that it was theirs. After the white screen on opening update the app no longer recognises my batteries or tag.

8. It still will not work on my main phone so I unpaired the adapters from my tools.

9. Update: I ended up trying another phone and was able to access my tools.

10. I am at a loss to understand how a piece of software is released in this day and age without being properly tested? Dumping BT battery.Worked without trouble yesterday.

11. Contacted dewalt multiple times with no help coming if it.Initially I thought that this was all fluff & stuff, but the ability to control maximum RPM, keep a stuck bit from twisting off my arm and so on is a real plus.
