1. The official IFRC First Aid app gives instant access to the information you need to know to handle the most common first aid emergencies and safety tips for crisis situation.
2. With interactive quizzes and simple step-by-step everyday first aid scenarios, it’s never been easier to learn first aid. ■ Engaging and active learning, allowing you to see and track your progress, build your knowledge, and increase confidence in your skills and ability to assist in emergencies. ■ Safety tips including water safety and road safety to help you prepare for emergencies. ■ Preloaded content means you have access to all information at any time, even without a cellular or WiFi connection. ■ Interactive quizzes allow you to earn badges that you can share with your friends and share your lifesaving knowledge. ■ Improved multi-lingual capability regardless of the user’s location. ■ Linkages to your local Red Cross or Red Crescent on-site and online training. ■ Fully integrated with emergency numbers (such as 911, 999, 112, and others) so you can call for help from the app at any time, even while traveling across borders.
1. I noticed that there's a feature that will change the content of the info once you crossed a country's border - hence I do hope that it could be translated into other languages and not only the country's native language.Nice app, very organized though in some topics i wasn't able to get a badge as it kept writing "failed _load_ page".
2. I spent more time thinking of what would the menu say in English to navigate, and this is clearly not ideal.Even if the language of the app changes accordingly to the location or the country, there should be an option to choose the language.
3. All things considered,10/10 if fixed but for now 9/10(will edit anymore if there's more bugs)(also, sorry for my terrible English and writing.)The lessons were good, although it is very annoying to not be able to navigate easily between lesson steps without going through options repeatedly.
4. It's really good but I have a few problem.Problem1. Sometimes even if I choose the right answer(s), it still thinks my answer is wrong(though that could be me choosing wrong).Problem2. Sometimes ✅ gets switched with false and ❌ with true.Problem3. sometimes the pick multiple choices also needs to pick the wrong choice also to get the next button appear.
5. Maybe don't make the app page in English if it's not a supported language, and have a notification when you install telling you the app requires setting upJust downloaded the app and was alarmed by the review section... many Indonesians are complaining being unable to access the English version.
6. Funny, why would anyone choose a non-native language to access an app required for emergency situation, where people need to think fast? Turns out, the Bahasa translation is rather clunky and still in English grammar.
7. Yet I am very sorry to tell you that this app asks for your country to choose right in the beginning, and unfortunately my country 'India' was not in the options to select in the list provided.
8. Otherwise, its one of the best apps to learn first aid.IFRC really need to make it clear that this app doesn't work in English, and is only for select countries.
9. Thus I have to change the English speaking country in order to read the topics.
10. However, I can't change the language of the app when I select Indonesia as my current location, it automatically sets the language into Indonesian.
11. It asks for location permission, but doesnt say why either, and the permission is impossible to skip.I am very glad to see the initiative of IFRC to encourage and spread the use of first aid.
