1. It counts my steps fairly reliably, I've been able to redeem my coins for giftcards without an issue.

2. And I hate the fact that you can only Make 100 coins per day, I walk around at work, almost 6 miles everyday, sometimes up to 16k steps in one day but I don't get rewarded for my extra effort.

3. It makes me not able to use my phone or collect points:(It's a good app but for whatever reason I can't change the background of my lock screen and it's driving me crazy, it only allows me to change it for a screen shot than goes back to usual ugly picture of the beach.

4. 😭 Update #2: all gift cards are out of stockNice app and it does pay out, but collecting the coins is kind of annoying.

5. I've emailed them concerning the issue of trying to make it right and no response!I have been able to redeem $10 in gift cards so far just walking around doing what I already do.

7. Update: The number of coins required for gift cards increased without warning.

8. Hardly any ads unless you press on the gifts.This app easily counts my steps and even detects steps when I shake the screen, so it's easy to gain more steps.

9. However, ALL of the gift cards are SOLD OUT, meaning, you can't get any rewards, which you wouldn't know until you've done all the work to earn one.

10. However, sometimes I would leave my phone on while I walk/run so I could earn coins in the background.

11. Recently, I've been trying to do surveys for coins and it never let's me, it always says "survey unavailable, try again later" or something like that.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CashWalk Issues

1. Fix CashWalk Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CashWalk: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CashWalk App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CashWalk" » Open CashWalk - Daily pedometer app » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CashWalk » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CashWalk - Daily pedometer app app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CashWalk servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CashWalk - Daily pedometer app" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CashWalk app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CashWalk might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CashWalk. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CashWalk then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CashWalk not working


2. Fix CashWalk Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CashWalk be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CashWalk not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CashWalk may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I was able to redeem the Amazon gift card 4 times, but when I went to redeem it for the 5th time, I got the message 'Your account has been suspended for security reasons. Contact Support Team via...' (the rest is cut off). This was AFTER I had performed their verification (they make you enter your phone number and then send you a code EVERY time) successfully. It's been almost a month since I've contacted them with NO response (not even the 'we are looking into it' response I get from most apps).

  • Hello,
    I have been using this app for about two months now and I noticed that the coins that comes up after every 100 steps always stops at 10 for me. At first I thought it was supposed to stop there even if I walked more than 1000 steps until I found out that it can go higher than 10.   • Today this afternoon my Cash Walk app stopped working when I'm on the load screen and I go to tap my coins to collect them they get collected but then when I get out of it and go back those coins are back and I have to recollect them so they're not saving to my account. Also when I click on like the rewards part of the app or the lottery part a same little message in the bottom of the screen comes up saying cannot connect to network to continue check Network or whatever and I've checked it everything is fine on my end whether I'm using Wi-Fi data at my house or I'm using my mobile data either or isn't working and I know it's the app cuz all of my other apps are working fine and connecting to the network no problem. It was working fine this morning and then suddenly I know where I started having these issues and I even tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and the same issue is going on so they're not collecting my coins and as soon as the day ends I'm going to lose all my hundred coins that I will acquire. So I needed this recorded that when this issue is resolved that I will be for my coins that aren't being collected so I would like it if somebody could get back to me at my email or they can call me on my cell phone which is 860-849-6117 thank you.

  • I feel like I have been walking with my CashWalk app forever.I was very excited about usong the app especially when I got my first and only $5 gift card.Since getting that,getting my coins takes forever.I should have cash out another $5 gift card by now.Sometines I see the coims accumulated appeat on my phone so I can tap to get them,and before long and before I am able to tap on them,they're gone.I check the app and there is no reflection of the new coins.So etimes I feel like the app does not give me credit for all my steps and I walk a lot.I wish Cashwalk wiuld do something about the problem.I have already recommended it to a few people but now I am wondering of that was a mostake.
