Cashwalk Customer Insights

1. It counts my steps fairly reliably, I've been able to redeem my coins for giftcards without an issue.

2. And I hate the fact that you can only Make 100 coins per day, I walk around at work, almost 6 miles everyday, sometimes up to 16k steps in one day but I don't get rewarded for my extra effort.

3. It makes me not able to use my phone or collect points:(It's a good app but for whatever reason I can't change the background of my lock screen and it's driving me crazy, it only allows me to change it for a screen shot than goes back to usual ugly picture of the beach.

4. 😭 Update #2: all gift cards are out of stockNice app and it does pay out, but collecting the coins is kind of annoying.

5. I've emailed them concerning the issue of trying to make it right and no response!I have been able to redeem $10 in gift cards so far just walking around doing what I already do.

6. This is a waste of time if you want rewards, but if you only use it to count steps, then this app's for you.2 stars because there's a decent variety of gift cards.

7. Update: The number of coins required for gift cards increased without warning.

8. Hardly any ads unless you press on the gifts.This app easily counts my steps and even detects steps when I shake the screen, so it's easy to gain more steps.

9. However, ALL of the gift cards are SOLD OUT, meaning, you can't get any rewards, which you wouldn't know until you've done all the work to earn one.

10. However, sometimes I would leave my phone on while I walk/run so I could earn coins in the background.

11. Recently, I've been trying to do surveys for coins and it never let's me, it always says "survey unavailable, try again later" or something like that.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cashwalk Issues

1. Fix Cashwalk Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Cashwalk: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cashwalk App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cashwalk" » Open Cashwalk: Step Counter&Rewards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cashwalk » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cashwalk: Step Counter&Rewards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cashwalk servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cashwalk: Step Counter&Rewards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cashwalk app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cashwalk might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cashwalk. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cashwalk then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cashwalk not working

2. Fix Cashwalk Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cashwalk be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cashwalk not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cashwalk may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Reported Issues

Note: Issues displayed have already been sent to the developer and are older than 7 days.

  • I checked one of my games I was close to competing the final stage and it said I had 5 days left to complete. I knew I would be able to complete the next day.
    On the next day it then showed as expired? So I contacted through the link to tapjoy and made sure I still completed the task then and there. tapjoy keeps replying with the same message without looking at the issue the the end date changed or 5 days left changed over night.
    If this was only a couple of coins I wouldn't be bothered but it's close to 5000. And I wouldn't of spent the time to get to the last task if I hadn't thought I would have been able to achieve it.
    Can this be looked into in more detail please as I believe tapjoy aren't.

    My coin collection algorithm is no longer working. I have stopped trying to collect steps now because nothing is working. I would like something to be fixed, I would like EVERYTHING TO BE FIXED, I was very happy when I signed up on Cashwalk, but in less than 4 months, I've seen the rewards I was hoping to collect disappear, the requirements for the smaller prizes have increased since my signup. and my earned gift cards are being refused by Amazon without sufficient explanation.     200 coins earned today. Unable to collect them because of "Network error", multiple times. I should have 7,300 coins as my day's end balance. Every time I pick up the 200 coins, I get the "Network error" prompt, and my balance reverts to 7,100 coins, with a bouncing box labeled 200. I ... just don't understand.

  • Last night I was redeeming all the coins for the day, and all the sudden, the app glitched and asked me to sign up all over again. I tried getting out of that window, starting again, and each time I got the same request. I finally did what it was asking, and I LOST ALL 7336 coins I had earned for the last 4-5 months!   • I was sending a complaint when I apparently hit SEND by mistake. I wrote to tell you about my problems with the coin counter. I have lost out on 160 coins for my day's work because of crash / restart the app issues. I am NOT happy with this - it keeps happening!
    Have you found out any information about why Amazon isn't honoring my gift cards? What can you and/or they do to achieve a resolution to this? I am going to write once a day until I hear from somebody about why I can't use gift cards I earned from you in the manner they are intended to be used.   • Amazon will not honor my gift cards. I collected the Cashwalk cards from the Rewards, entered the codes on my intended purchase at Amazon, whose agent told me that my cards were being refused because they were purchased at a store, and I should talk to the store where I bought the cards for help. I would like to make you aware of my aggravations with the lack of any support from either Amazon or Cashwalk. You promise much, but you deliver zero. And you are impossible to contact for real assistance. Here are the rest of my issues with Cashwalk:

    * Daily Lucky Boxes rarely generate over 1 coin, so I don't bother with them anymore.
    * $25 Amazon gift card at 10,000 coins removed from offerings when I had 3/5 of the required coins to get it and has not been offered since.
    * All 'prices' have increased since I signed on, meaning I must walk more to earn less, or smaller prizes because the big ones are NLA. If this trend continues, I would rather cancel Cashwalk than be a slave to an app on my phone.

    You could probably help me, but WILL you? I am so disappointed in Cashwalk. Fun has become fatigue and frustration. but the final straw remains that if I can't earn or enjoy any reward from Cashwalk, then I would rather not have the app. Can you explain to me why Amazon won't honor the gift cards I spent 4 months collecting? Can you explain why they claim what they are declaring? Is there a solution for this current problem? Will this happen in the future? What can you offer me now to incentivize me to keep Cashwalk? I look forward to any reply, let alone a prompt one.

  • Amazon will not honor my gift cards.     I have just redeemed a gift card of £5 but when I tried to use it on amazon it said it had already been redeemed and did not add any money to my balance.

The message states, Your account has been temporarily paused as we detected usage from non-service country. To resolve this issue, please reach out to Support Team. I have done this several times via email without receiving a reply. I am 67 years old female and live in Pennsylvania, USA and always have. PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

  • I was recently out of the country on vacation and, although I didn't use the app while on vacation, since returning I've had a bunch of problems with it. Today, I earned enough coins to exchange for a gift card and the app came up with a notice saying my account had been paused and I needed to contact Support Team. I tried using the AI system and it recommended listing my location as precise as well as uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. I tried both of these suggestions but the problem has not fixed itself. Is there a way of solving this problem? Or do I need to try a new app?
