GLOBE Customer Insights

1. You can accomplish the same stuff with the default clock widgets and they are way easier to set up and don't drain your battery to track your location.The app overall is great (I am a free user because I only want the most basic functions), I have two clocks set up on my home screen one for my time and one for my girlfriends time as we are in a long distance relationship, but any time my phone turns restarts my widgets break and I just have two text boxes that say "problem loading widget", so I have to delete and place them each time, it's not a major issue, but it is an annoying little bug, and if fixed I will definitely up my review score.Great app! Chose this over others since it's one of the more aesthetically pleasing yet functional ones.

2. The UX/UI of the app is very good too, easy to understand how it works and it's pleasant to look at.You can't delete location based time, I don't want my battery dead because my clock needs to know my GPS coordinates.

3. I love the feature to easily convert any time to the chosen timezones! My suggestions would be 1) turn off the dynamic background even in the non-OLED theme, 2) more theme options, and 3) ability to rename locations.

4. Might purchase pro in a while to help support this! (And bc ads are annoying haha) keep it up!This app is fantastic, but I've run into a couple of issues: after adding locations from internet, had persistent progress bars stuck at the top of the main screen.

5. Wound up having to clear cache and storage to get rid of that, which seems to have reset my PRO purchase, including putting ads back on the screen, and these seems to be no way to restore PRO status.This app is almost exactly what I need, the only issue is I can't scroll past today until it's after midnight.

6. I didn't find the widget when I searched clock or world in the widget list, not gonna bother scrolling to find it if it's named poorly.

7. If I could keep going, it would make it easier because then I would easily be able to set an alarm for something that's not on the same date in my time zone as it is in a different time zone.

8. I purchased the pro version only because I wanted the temperature of all the cities to be displayed with all the different times on the world clock widget, but unfortunately it only displays on the app itself.

9. I travel a lot and my colleagues and clients are in various time zones so I always struggle to understand the meeting time schedule.

10. Keep "My location" time selected.

11. Bug: the time on "my location" shows 8 AM or 8 PM.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GLOBE Issues

1. Fix GLOBE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GLOBE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GLOBE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GLOBE" » Open GLOBE: World clock and widget » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GLOBE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GLOBE: World clock and widget app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GLOBE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GLOBE: World clock and widget" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GLOBE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GLOBE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GLOBE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GLOBE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GLOBE not working


2. Fix GLOBE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GLOBE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GLOBE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GLOBE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
