Month Customer Insights

1. Might reconsider if they offer a separate pro version that I could actually purchase.I like the app a lot, especially that it has a dark mode, but it lacks a key feature that means I can't use it to replace the Google Calendar widget.

2. Instead of individual options to customize the different elements of the widget (such as the fonts, background colors, highlight color, etc.), they have created "themes" and apart from the few that are free (which probably won't have the appearance you are looking for), you have to pay for others.

3. Calendar freezes when trying to navigate between months and stays frozen on that month until I remove the widget and reapply.

4. I believe it would be easy to add a schedule widget since the functionality is already there.Great widget, been using it for years.

5. Too bad, I loved this app while it worked.A few years ago I searched for a calendar widget and decided on this one and one other.

6. This widget has a schedule, but you first have to click on the day which means I can't see the event times without the extra clicks.

7. For the last year or two, the option to open default calendar by tapping the header quit working, just goes to year view now.

8. However, as of yesterday the Month: Calendar widget no longer shows up on my phone.

9. The themes are great and the functionality is perfect to not have to launch the full calendar app to be able to see what my tasks are for the day.

11. Hope this is fixed soon!Don't always get notifications, I set notifications to get alarm 60 minutes or whatever before event but about 75% of the time I never get the notification of the event.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Month Issues

1. Fix Month Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Month: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Month App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Month" » Open Month: Calendar Widget » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Month » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Month: Calendar Widget app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Month servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Month: Calendar Widget" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Month app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Month might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Month. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Month then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Month not working


2. Fix Month Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Month be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Month not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Month may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
