Brussels Airlines Customer Insights

1. The security check for adding your account (by using your email or your phone number) doesn't work, it took me 1 hour to get the activation link... I hope they have at least solved the offline availability of boarding passes (which was still not possible a few months ago...). So by far: worst airline app everTerrible experience.

2. So I'm forced to use the QR codd that O received via email.Beyond aviation standards! Have to add my contact details but they never got stored.. even filling in all fields with correct data format..and for some reasons mandatory fields are doubled! Trying to select seat that i want to pay for, get error DAPI/400/4926 and contacting developpers send y mail to callcenter! And these IT developers never read reactions on this platform, maybe they prefer IOS.

3. After going through setting up an account the first check in worked perfectly but then the 2nd pass was not sent to the app and so I was unable to claim my 2nd boarding pass online and was told that I'd have to get the pass at the airport where I have a 1 hour 20 minute layover if I could not print it out.

4. Deleted the trip and tried again... Now it won't let me register a trip... either times out or 'there has been an error'.Main reason for having the app is to have the boarding passes in it, but after checking in and even boarding it still does not show the boarding pass.

5. Return trip, let me check-in and emailled boarding cards but then refused to acknowledge checked in status... inviting me check in again.

6. Your profile in the app (name, address etc...) is not the same thing than your account (which is used for getting your boarding pass and checking-in).

7. Outgoing it let me enter name and locator code, check-in worked but no boarding cards in the app (had them emailed).

8. (I am a frequent flyer - once per month)This is just a web app that let you see your boarding passes and do the check in.

9. I wonder when the airline is going to start taking these issurs seriously, as it looks very much that they are happy to loose customers to virtually all other airlines who are capable of having a functioning app.

10. This app is another example of Belgian incompetence, which sadly, seems to be ubiquitous in the entire country.I'm constantly using several airline's apps but this one is by far the worst one.

11. On top of that my new tickes is not even shown in the boarding tab.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Brussels Airlines Issues

1. Fix Brussels Airlines Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  3. Clear Brussels Airlines app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Brussels Airlines servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Brussels Airlines" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Brussels Airlines app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Brussels Airlines might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Brussels Airlines. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Brussels Airlines then reinstall.
