BRP GO! Customer Insights

1. Being able to place pins to create a route ahead of time and knowing how many miles on the trail it is before you even go on the trip was amazing! However now i dont see the trail maps anymore.

2. Road maps should be the easy part of this! Please remove all the house driveway! I've never seen a road map that shows driveways as part of the road!This app is about as useful as a paper trail map, except the paper map doesn't require a battery or cellular/GPS.

3. Maps is still lacking some features, I'm unable to change route by selecting highlighted line and dragging it elsewhere.

4. As does zooming out.. I know this is only for sled trails, but the background street maps here in NH show house driveways as roads!!! These errors surely don't inspire confidence in the mapping.

5. Also, I am unable to plan a route by selecting sections on the map, I have to select destinations to create a route.Route planning is broken.

6. A gap was left in the trail data in a very small space, making the route calculation impossible.

7. Downloaded the app last year on my Samsung S22+ and purchased the upgraded Navionics mapping software to show the depth however it never works.

8. This makes the navigation route you around these two sections of trail.

9. I found it difficult or sometimes impossible to plan a ride to my desired route.

10. Every time I try to access the navionics maps I get "Error Impossible to display current subscription" please try again later.

11. I'm a surprised that BRP doesn't data mine the actual trails from GTS Trails or crowd sourced from saved rides.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BRP GO! Issues

1. Fix BRP GO! Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BRP GO!: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BRP GO! App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BRP GO!" » Open BRP GO!: Maps & Navigation » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BRP GO! » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BRP GO!: Maps & Navigation app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BRP GO! servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BRP GO!: Maps & Navigation" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BRP GO! app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BRP GO! might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BRP GO!. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BRP GO! then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BRP GO! not working


2. Fix BRP GO! Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BRP GO! be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BRP GO! not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BRP GO! may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
