Why should I report an Issue with BRP Connect?

1. Playlist wont show up on the music app that are on my phone.(Android). Rever app wont resume after a pause within BPR comnect and is very hard to navigate.Disappointed & Let Down...the main reason for spending the chunk of change on a NEW Sea to Sky Spyder was to gain access to built in screen with navigation/weather and phone connection WITHOUT having accessories clogging up handlebars.

2. Before the last update the app would randomly quit and in order to restart I had to turn the Spyder off to access the phone in the front trunk.

3. The apps that do work are useless including Genius Maps GPS navigation.

4. The whole thing is too damn complicate, and I work in IT :-) When it finally works, it is nice to have the GPS on the screen... Navigating everything with the joystick can be a problem.

5. Despite all the negative reviews, the app actually works... the problem is that for it to work you have to follow a specific series of steps, and if you miss one, or do it in the wrong order, nothing connects.

6. Just bite the bullet and integrate it properly to Google Maps and/or Waze would you? Please?Havent really had a issue with BRP comnect itself, supporting apps are a different story.

7. The dealer rep had the same result with his Android phone and cable.I bought the pro version of the maps.

8. It doesn't even recognise that the right apps (AccuWeather for one) is even on the phone let alone integrate to it.

9. For instance, if you connect the phone, nothing happens until you turn the key on AND press the mode button.

10. None my apps work with it including Google maps.

11. If you use it to play music then you should be able to control the volume of said music, the navigation doesn't work.

1. Fix BRP Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BRP Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BRP Connect App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BRP Connect" » Open BRP Connect » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BRP Connect » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BRP Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BRP Connect servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BRP Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BRP Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BRP Connect might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BRP Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BRP Connect then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BRP Connect not working

2. Fix BRP Connect Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BRP Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BRP Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BRP Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
