1. Would be awesome to get that ability back since most of my project files are in network and external connected drives and therefore not accessible in the latest version. When I want to transfer my photos to my PC quickly but the app takes forever to connect to my PC even when I turn on Bluetooth on both devices.
2. Waiting doesn't affect the file transfer as I've given it ~1hr previously and the files still didn't appear in the aforementioned folder until I manually opened them several times from the app.
3. Anyone know of alternative remote file access apps?Great concept, an option that doesn't involve a forced Microsoft login.
4. Also, why does it have to rely on a wireless connection? Why can't I put plug my phone into my computer for more reliable communication between devices? I was hoping this would have been fixed in the 6 months since I attempted using it the first time but nope.
5. Not sure if it was something where Microsoft provided incentive for Asus to coordinate this with their non allowing of remote desktop with 10 home.I really just want the remote file access feature.
6. Additionally, often when I'm transferring files to my phone, they're received, but aren't added to my gallery/photo library until I manually tap on each one and open it in the gallery.
7. This is still easier than putting everything on a flash drive or directly connecting my phone to the laptop, but loses any convenience when transferring more than a couple of files.
8. If you add a save password feature, I'll be back for sure.Truly awesome app! I think in a previous version we had access to all the file structure rather than just stuff under my pc.
9. Having some settings in the android app would be useful, to determine where received files are stored.
10. Aside from that, I still love the app and use it daily for work.A complete waste of time! I downloaded the android app and the windows MyAsus App.
11. Initial setup was slightly painful, and I couldn't say "disconnect for now" without completely unpairing the device or turning off WiFi and bluetooth but that's not a great idea.
