If your considering to use this company I would suggest having a backup plan when the systems down bc it will be down frequently.Works so far; but, who's brilliant idea was it to use a font that is so narrow, nothing is legible without zooming the screen in? Ridiculous.Never works when you need it to activate your apartment gate.

2. So I called Access-Specialties Tech Support and they walked me through an update, and now everything is working great! Thanks CJ.Only works 2/5 times.

3. Also, app feels outdated and would be nice if there was an Android widget to quickly open the gate when approaching.Have a newer android & app consistently fails to load.

4. Have uninstalled .. re-installed etc....currently in a rental car...1 star us generousAs every other review states app is unreliable and will have you locked out of your home if you don't have a clicker to your gate.

5. When the app is properly working its great but it's one of those advance programs that sounds good and has great features and advantages but unfortunately this app doesn't hold to its potential.

6. How these horrible companies get contracts with large apartments is beyond me.I had issues, it wasn't working and it said that the server was not connected.

7. On a lucky week it will work maybe twice.The app works when it does... but when it doesn't it leaves you stranded.

8. I literally get an email once a week from my apartment complex explaining their working on the system.

9. Have to open and close the app about 4 times to actually get to the commands screen of the app to actually open my gate.

1. Fix Focal Point Freedom Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Focal Point Freedom: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Focal Point Freedom App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Focal Point Freedom" » Open Focal Point Freedom » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Focal Point Freedom » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Focal Point Freedom app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Focal Point Freedom servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Focal Point Freedom" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Focal Point Freedom app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Focal Point Freedom might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Focal Point Freedom. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Focal Point Freedom then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Focal Point Freedom not working

2. Fix Focal Point Freedom Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Focal Point Freedom be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Focal Point Freedom not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Focal Point Freedom may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
