1. It appears the function to pay with a bank/credit card is disabled, forcing you to link directly to your bank account through Plaid, and they shouldn't be forcing that.This is a terrible app disguised to be "easy to use" but has a horrible interface and rarely works properly.

2. It doesn't matter whether you click save payment source or not, because not only will it make you reverify your account by logging into your bank *every single payment* but if you happen to switch out of the app and go back into it, you might also have to reverify your account.

3. It got two stars only because money leaves promptly.Great so far! Initially had trouble with setting up payment option (the issue had to do with the landlord not setting up the full rent term) but the customer support helped right away.

4. We tried to enter our bank info on 3 different devices, multiple times spent almost 5 hours trying to figure it out... Turns out android works a little better? But still buggy.

5. I was never notified that my bank account needed reconnecting, and then had to go through the whole process of trying to connect, only for it to tell me I can't link to that account.

6. Only negative feedback is that during the application process, you can only upload jpeg files instead of pdfs which is super inconvenient.

7. First time it crashed, then the other times I would enter ALL of the bank information to the end and when I hit save then it would bounce me all the way back to the beginning where it says "get started".🥵🥵I'm unimpressed.

8. I'm supposed to upload 8 documents to submit an application, but I can only upload image files.

9. The application review came up with a blank page, so I had to blindly submit it.Customer service hasn't fully interpreted the issue because their response is to do what I've already done.

10. Also it keeps trying to sell you overpriced renter's insurance.Probably one of the worst apps I think I've used for rent extremely Buggy.

11. Then, when I went to pay the application fee, it wouldn't process my credit card the first three times.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix RentRedi Issues

1. Fix RentRedi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart RentRedi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the RentRedi App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RentRedi" » Open RentRedi for Tenants & Owners » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RentRedi » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear RentRedi for Tenants & Owners app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RentRedi servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RentRedi for Tenants & Owners" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check RentRedi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RentRedi might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall RentRedi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RentRedi then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RentRedi not working


2. Fix RentRedi Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RentRedi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RentRedi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RentRedi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Cannot send money on my bank account. I signed up for another bank and sent it again today and it still has not gone through the Midfirst Account can I make sure my Midfirst account is connected properly
