1. You can interact with smart hardware via your mobile phone easily , and get interoperability between intelligent hardware.

Intelligent Home Center Customer Insights

1. buttons have been relearned many times, the device is sending the same IR code multiple timesI needed IHC to connect my Blackbean Mini RM 3 to my Wi-Fi network, setup a digital TV remote control, and create voice commands that I could use on Google home.

2. All devices still work with this app, but that's not why I bought them; if I wanted to push buttons on a remote, I'd just use the remotes that came with the TVs, etc.. Now, I have 4 useless pieces of black plastic.I am extremely unhappy with the 11/6/18 update.

3. Especially, if I lost a remote in the move.It was working great for over a year, today, it quit working and says it needs a firmware update, when I Try to update it it says there's a problem with the network.

4. The hardware is useless otherwise.biggest issue I and othera who I know use this is, when you tell alexa to turn something on it will turn the device on and then off really quick, as if its sending the signal twice really fast.

5. It is a remote control, with this version, I can't even turn on an appliance without allowing the app to access you contact info.

6. Alexa works though.Devices do not even attempt to connect to networks with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz on the same SSID.

7. Landscape mode (so button/scene names are not truncated), ability to add custom images for buttons (like w/ scenes when it doesn't crash b/c the preloaded images are not enough) and Tasker integration.

8. Issue 2: The auto detect mode is awesome and works for volume up and down and power, but not for change source.

9. Since i dont have my old remote i cannot train it :( Issue 3: Vol up and down is annoying because it doesnt support hold for continous up and down.

10. The app requires some very strange and seemingly invasive permissions that also negatively impact battery life, so I only gave it three stars because of that.Works but has some issues.

11. I don't see any reason that the app needs my contact info, my location, my camera once it is setup correctly, just to turn on my fan, or my tv.
