AnyHome Customer Insights

1. Takes a long time to actually record who is at the door! Works pretty good for $40 except if a delivery driver rings the bell, it takes about 15 seconds for the notification to hit my phone then when I pull up live video, the person is already gone! Of course it doesn't save the pic or video clip of who it was so 🙄 its useless to me.

2. Also,my doorbell came with the indoor chime (excellent), so volume control, or option to turn off doorbell ring would be great, as it is VERY loud (as is talking to someone standing there).The hardware (B30 AnyTek) works just fine 5⭐.

3. If having trouble with the connection change to 60hz in the settings of the DOORBELL (not the app) by opening the Doorbell camera view and selecting the "gear" icon in the lower right.

4. The app needs some help, or I need more info about the settings I guess? Would like to know what some of the settings are for, i.e. 'cruise'? And lower movement detection would be helpful, as any slight breeze moving the corner of our flag into view sets it off.

5. Buy yourselves a better more well known version of video doorbellsVery frustrating app! When I first bought my camera doorbell, it was a faff to set up, but I eventually got it set up.

6. After hours of trying to find some hidden permission on my phone I realized the doorbell will not call my phone as it should.

7. Seeing it's a security cam, one needs split second connection as to catch someone stealing or worse!! This app makes a good camera bad.

8. I had to have the battery replaced on my phone, so had to add the device all over again, but this time the app just wouldn't work.

9. The motion detection works only when it wants to and it loses connection intermittently while everything is in the house and close to the router.

10. The device paired with my phone, but wouldn't finish detecting my phone or read the code.

11. I would like to be able to adjust the sensitivity or the distance the camera picks up motion.Easy to use app with cloud storage.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AnyHome Issues

1. Fix AnyHome Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AnyHome: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AnyHome App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AnyHome" » Open AnyHome » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AnyHome » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AnyHome app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AnyHome servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AnyHome" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AnyHome app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AnyHome might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AnyHome. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AnyHome then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AnyHome not working


2. Fix AnyHome Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AnyHome be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AnyHome not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AnyHome may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
