1. no security, unable to change password, app randomly not responding, no pay stubs to see, no total work hours displayed, request time off is cumbersome.

2. last update of this app was 2 years ago! Guess they have no intention of improving the app at allapp won't let me log in ..it has no place to change password or any place to click if you "forgot pasdword" .

3. there is no support center to contact either.Help! Had been using the app on my phone with no trouble but supervisor mentioned that I could only see my cumulative hours for the week on the PC so loaded the app.

4. it asks u to change your password like every 90 days ..eventually you are going to forget which one u are using and will need to change it ..or reset it but you cant.

5. why bother with convienence in a mobile app if the mobile app isnt compatible? it also has screwed with my hours by claiming I punched in and out when I didn't.Won't even login.

6. Will definitely be discussing other options with my leadership team.Doesn't have login with finger print.

7. What other website or app shows your SSN and bank account information right on the screen?!?! Not to mention the app looks like a child designed it.

8. I just go to the website for easy login.Security for this company product is non-existent.

9. When you get a text message to verify anything, you can't go out to check the code, and then return.....it will reset the app...tall tossed this together too fast.....and it really shows...Well... despite the horrible reviews, I tried it.

10. TerribleAfter hearing several employee complaints I decided to try it out as the website seems to work just fine.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TotalHRWorks Issues

1. Fix TotalHRWorks Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TotalHRWorks: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TotalHRWorks App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TotalHRWorks" » Open TotalHRWorks » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TotalHRWorks » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TotalHRWorks app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TotalHRWorks servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TotalHRWorks" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TotalHRWorks app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TotalHRWorks might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TotalHRWorks. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TotalHRWorks then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TotalHRWorks not working


2. Fix TotalHRWorks Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TotalHRWorks be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TotalHRWorks not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TotalHRWorks may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
