HMRC Customer Insights

1. Wouldn't it be better to verify my ID properly once and make it easier to login?Hyperlink to another page until your lost! Worst website and app I've ever navigated! You click on a page to do something and all the pages do are list links to other pages which again describe other topics instead of taking you to what you actually need to do, until your so lost and confused with what it is you're supposed to do that you spend the next half an hour on hold on the phone line! Always been the same and doubt will ever update. An excellent app giving a succinct and well presented range of UK personal taxation information.

2. The problem may have been fixed within 90 minutes but by that time I had uninstalled and reinstalled and it took me many days and many wasted hours to reconfigure - this was due to exceptionally poor help pages and support answers that were either irrelevant or referred to the poor help pages that just went round in circles.

3. When I re-enter the app, I am at the same report issue section! Completely waste of time! Don't bother downloadCan't even sign in as the app removes your is when you enter your password and your password when you enter your id, leaving you in a purpetual state of stuck at the login screen.

4. Can't even log into my account on the website as I'm still not recognised as I need to reregister, which I can't do because apparently all my info is incorrect when it isn't.Totally useless, continually loops you on security checks until you finally give up and phone.

5. Thanks. Why do I have to verify my identity everytime I login using 2 piece of documents?? Its annoying cause it ends up with the system can't match my details.

6. I rarely rate apps but this has improved my HMRC experience so much it is worth one!I had to start using the HMRC app because I became self employed and I am finding it very easy to use and at the moment after few months using it I have no problems about this app.

7. App provides an up to date messaging communications section, as well as comprehensive seamless links to more detailed personal tax matters upon the main HMRC website.

8. This fully includes PAYE, Tax Credits, Help 2 Save, with more recently added Self Assessment, Child Benefit and State Pension, also giving tax summaries from previous years.

9. If you some how manage to progress, you then need a code from the app itself, going to the code page logs you out and means you have to attempt to login again.

10. Had app on old phone now can't register on my new phone as im not recognised with any of the info required.

11. No one to contact and the help section isn't helpful.
