1. 12/17/20 update - even more garbage than before, can't successfully change app permissions for storage or camera, don't waste your time with this app if you don't absolutely have to.I have lots of health issues and several doctors.

2. In using this app, I can sometimes open messages & test results, but most of the time I get an error message saying the server is having problems.

3. In all instances it usually fails.Have used the app for a long time with no issues, then when i had to update, it stopped showing my stuff.

4. The phone app had me to re-enter all the info I'd previously entered on my PC when I'd created and confirmed my account to "check in" for my upcoming appointment.

5. 95 minutes hold time later I hung up and deleted the app.Excellent source of all my medical information.

6. :) I am extremely impressed with this app and how it helps me feel connected with my surgeon during the very difficult waiting period till the surgery date.

7. Supposed to be a time-saver, but it's been the opposite for me, the MyChart website works much more smoothly.

8. It says I don't have a PCP, no meds, no test results (even though I had one recently and got the notification I had the results), and no upcoming appointments.

9. Most of the time what I need to do, doesn't matter what it is, it's broken on Android.

10. Ultimately, it's a great tool to have and easy to use.When it works out is good.

1. Fix Providence Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Providence: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Providence App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Providence" » Open Providence » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Providence » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Providence app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Providence servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Providence" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Providence app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Providence might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Providence. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Providence then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Providence not working

2. Fix Providence Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Providence be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Providence not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Providence may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
