1. By choosing Firefox, you support the non-profit Mozilla Foundation whose mission is to build a better internet — one that puts individual and public benefit over commercial profit. • Automatic tracker blocking — By default, Firefox blocks trackers and scripts such as social media trackers, cross-site cookie trackers, crypto-miners and fingerprinters. • Enhanced tracking protection — Choose the “strict” setting and get even more privacy protections. • Private browsing mode — When you close private mode, your browsing history is automatically erased from your device. • Find what you want quickly — create as many tabs as you like without losing track. • See your open tabs as thumbnails or a list view. • See tabs from your phone on your desktop and vice versa — or choose to keep them separate. • Log into sites easily — Firefox remembers your passwords across devices. • Firefox suggests passwords for new log-ins and stores them securely. • Enhanced Tracking Protection automatically blocks online trackers from following you around the web and slowing down your pages. • Get suggestions and previously searched results in the search bar so you can quickly access the sites you visit most. • Move the search bar location from the top to the bottom of the screen, making it easier to use with one hand. • Use the Firefox search widget to search the web directly from your device’s home screen. • See the recent searches you’ve done on other devices for seamless searching across mobile, desktop and more. • Get helpful add-on extensions, including ways to block ads, block certain webpages, turbo-charge privacy settings and more. • Access your recent bookmarks, top sites and see popular articles from across the internet, recommended by Pocket, which is part of Mozilla.
2. Switch to dark mode any time, reducing eye strain and prolonging your battery power. • Pop videos out of their webpages or players and pin them to the top of your phone’s screen to watch while you surf the web and do other things. • Share links to web pages or specific items on a page with easy, quick access to your most recently used apps.
3. Mozilla exists to build the internet as a public resource accessible to all because we believe open and free is better than closed and controlled.
4. Don’t settle for a browser made by unethical, profit-driven, data-hoarding companies.
5. It’s a new era in tech.
6. We build products like Firefox to promote choice and transparency and give people more control over their lives online.
1. If this gets fixed in an update then this browser would be 5 starsI've been using this for years now problem and now recently just trying to scroll back to the top of a page causes the app to think "hey, I can see you're trying to refresh the page, I'll get right on that for you 😁" and will refresh after scrolling up 2 lines of text.
2. Ultimately, the only complaint I still have is that it usually seems to reload whatever page you're on when you switch apps; it does normally save your position, at least, but the slight extra delay is a nuisance.Firefox has been my go-to browser for over a decade.
3. And yes, I've tried with no add-ons, tracking protection disabled, https only off, and clearing browsing history, cookies, cache.Love firefox on desktop and on my phone.
4. However, after about a month of using it, I can confidently say I've never used a browser that cause more broken websites than Firefox.
5. Or Samsung Internet Browser.I did really enjoy it, but the new update makes tabs bulkier and harder to use.
6. My biggest gripe with Firefox Mobile is that for YEARS the downloads section on the app crashes the whole thing, and hasn't been fixed since then.
7. Excuse me, Firefox, I am simply trying to scroll up not completely lose my place and/or and info I've typed into text boxes.
8. I have to keep another web browser installed on my phone to ensure I have something to open websites that do not work.
9. Still better than Chrome. When I first downloaded this browser, I would've given it 5 stars because of how many features and options it has.
10. Also the new update has made youtube crash almost every time I click full screen until I go back into the site manually.
11. HOWEVER, every other browser on my phone works, like Chrome.
