Why should I report an Issue with Tuner - gStrings?

You app is the perfect tool for me,I am an old guitarist at 65,I took again my guitar from the wall and start to play (seriousely?)since 3-4 years..I like the clarity and precision of the needle,simple system but so efficient!!! Now I use this app since few month,less than a year,but before this one other apps never satisfied me more than a week! So well done,the team,and don't change anything ,ok? I would ask that the format be changed slightly to make it more intuitive/qyicjer to use e.g. when selecting the standard guitar tuning option, rather than having to scroll through all the notes between one string and the next, simply being able to select EADGBE, one after the other.Had to repurchase after getting an error on the app and 'losing' access to my paid app in he process it would seem.

3. Seems accurate, and the frequency readout is useful from time to time.Good, reliable app.

5. I did that and it shows up in settings, but it still would not load.I've used free version for many years.

6. It's clever, copy and pasting and renaming the app and then deleting the old version so that everyone starts clean on purchase history, every once in a while.

7. I also don't get why it makes me want to download a second identical app from the store after purchasing the ad-free version, just for that to be not usable.

8. I don't use it a huge amount, as I tend to use an instrument mounted vibration sensing tuner, but this is very handy if I've not got that to hand.

9. I gave it microphone permission but it's still stuck in the "this app needs microphone permission to work Yadda yadda" screen.

10. It looked perfect a few years ago, they changed it for the current one for unknown reason.

11. So decided to buy it, would not let me get any further than a screen saying you must allow microphone access.

1. Fix Tuner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Tuner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Tuner App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tuner" » Open Tuner - gStrings » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tuner » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Tuner - gStrings app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tuner servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tuner - gStrings" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Tuner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tuner might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Tuner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tuner then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tuner not working

2. Fix Tuner Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tuner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tuner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tuner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
