1. Worst app ever. This app is very easy to use and works perfectly every time! Notifications come through when your parking session has started and when it's about to end, can also help you find your car if you forgot where you parked.
2. After our city encouraged everyone to use the app to pay when they reinstated metered parking I hoped that the app would be better, but I'm disappointed that our city has probably invested a significant amount into an app that still is often times unusable.App works, but the people that support/update it are clearly lazy or incompetent.
3. If there were an alternate way to buy parking time, I would use it.Yes, this little app has saved me hundreds of dollars, probably thousands dollars! It is a staple for students on the UWM campus.
4. So basically ignore what they say on the page until you fail to create a password them they'll tell you the right way.I like the convenience of having an app to pay for parking in Milwaukee- especially as a touchless solution during COVID-19.
5. The only thing I would add is a GPS indicator showing where your parking zone is when you are selecting how much time you want.
6. Once I finally got it to open I was unable to use it to pay for my parking because the Zone number wasn't indicated on the parking meter or pay kiosk where I was trying to park.
7. However, as many others have mentioned, the app has technical limitations, and by the time my transaction completes, I have been ticketed.
8. There's no excuse for such basic functionality issues e.g. I cannot modify the time or add anything except min or max, I can't save a session in prog.
9. The transaction fees are $0.35 and that is significant compared to the cost of parking.
10. Just make sure you check which car you are parking, they recently adjusted this in a patch and it works much better now.
11. When I first installed it back in January it crashed every single time I opened it so I uninstalled.
