1. Although we are working hard to make public safety agencies aware of PulsePoint, you can help by expressing interest to your local fire chief, EMS official, and elected officials such as your mayor, council member or supervisor.
2. PulsePoint helps create an informed and engaged community that drives a “Culture of Action,” a key strategy in strengthening the Chain of Survival for cardiac arrest victims.
3. PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when CPR is needed nearby.
4. A simple note, phone call or public meeting comment would ensure that they are aware of PulsePoint.
5. We have found that City Hall does listen and is quite willing to bring PulsePoint to the community.
6. For more information, visit pulsepoint. org, contact us at info@pulsepoint. org, or join the conversation at Facebook and Twitter.
7. PulsePoint currently provides coverage for thousands of cities and communities, with many more on the way.
8. These informational notifications provide an early heads-up to local threats such as wildland fires, flooding and utility emergencies.
9. PulsePoint not yet available in your community?
10. You can even monitor live dispatch radio traffic for most PulsePoint-connected communities with a simple tap on the speaker icon.
11. In addition to nearby “CPR-needed” notifications, you can choose to be notified of significant events that may impact you and your family.
1. I found this to be problematic while my neighborhood was watching a nearby fire and we were listening to the scanner and it would turn off after a period of time.Very good local oriented app to keep track of events in my area.
2. It doesn't freeze, there are absolutely zero ads, it actually updates in real time and most of the time, I get a notification of a local incident before I see or hear emergency vehicles heading to the scene.
3. Otherwise I thing it is a great app... Just change those two issues and it will be on POINT!There wasn't any guide when I uploaded the app & figuring out the stations I needed to follow in the unincorporated areas wasn't all that easy.
4. Removed and reinstalled no sound.Very cool and informative app! Has been very accurate and quick to show incidents to keep you well up to date about happenings in your area.
5. This is a very well made up and a great asset to both private citizens and first responders.Pulse point is pretty accurate with dispatched calls.
6. The only improvement I'd like to see is the ability so view multiple agencies at once for incidents on the map or in a list (I live right near the boundary between two agencies, so I have to constantly toggle between the two from a drop-down to see all activity around me)Very good app, I'd like to see some minor changes.
7. It's been effective at getting me where I need to go with clear concise location information each time.
8. I arrived ahead of emergency services each time, proving that this app creates a faster response when moments count.
9. I wish it had the ability to broadcast emergency radios including dispatch, for further communication efforts.
10. It seems to be always on and you can turn off the audible alerts if you don't need to hear them.
11. Also there seems to be a Mic at the bottom for audio that doesn't seem to work, or I don't know how to turn it on.
