1. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2. x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices. * Synchronize your vault using the cloud or your own server (Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, WebDAV and many more).
2. Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android.
3. You can use "Keepass2Android Offline" if you don't need this feature. * Many advanced features, e. g.
1. Just remember, if the service is free *you* are the product! I had to knock a star off due to a problem with the menu item "Synchronize database...". A message flashes momentarily on the screen reporting something to effect that insufficient permissions to external storage.
2. I just don't see an option to stay logged in or need just the three digit sign in as default.I'm extremely happy with this open source alternative : works on my phone and computers, it's safer than LastPass, and it just works extremely well.
3. My database file will show up in the bottom but clicking it does nothing.KeePass 2 for Android, is one of my most used apps, and a favorite for many reasons.
4. This forces me to close the database and "Select a new database" again before the file on external storage is read again.Fixed -- I really like this app, especially the password generator.
5. I especially love the built-in keyboard, for safety and easy credentials loading.I have been using this app for years it works great! I do not have the problems some have mentioned regarding gdrive.
6. Great start and look forward to further updates (love that it works with the inputstick USB).Has issues with staying open and active for password auto-fill.
7. I set the database file to be available offline on my mobile.
8. I can put the encrypted file that stores my passwords on a cloud of my choosing (which has its own pass phrase) and I can point desktop versions of keepassXC to it.
9. To me, it's a little cryptic where the data file is stored on my device and concerned about switching devices based on an experience with an earlier version.
10. I have my database saved on gdrive as a top level file.
11. So it looks like there is a "history function" added into recent builds, but it looks like it only stays with the device (internal DB, not the data file) and not into a "backup folder".
