1. After two hours and relentless persistence.. Resetting, pressing random combinations of buttons on soundbar, unplugging, etc; I saw that I had to put the volume to 0 (zero), at that time, the "setup wifi" displayed and I was finally able to connect through the app.Disappointing I didn't buy the soundbar to have it work with this app, but after months of waiting to see if the devs would fix the app nothing has happened.
2. Your bluetooth speakers connect without an app so why isn't it the same for a soundbar??? I've wasted 10 mins of my time trying to get this nonsense to work.
3. Attempted to connect to speaker via three different android devices and app never seems to recognize JBL wifi network.
4. I tried clearing the app cache and reinstalling it, forgot all my wireless networks, created a new wireless network on an isolated VLAN with no firewall, 2.4GHz versus 5GHz, connecting via the Google Home app.. and still it sits there and spins, mocking me.
5. Soundbar itself is great, app just sucks.App does not recognise that phone is connected to JBL network.
6. It never connects the soundbar to my home wireless network; it just spins endlessly.
7. Big let downApp is useless, it's for a 5.1 to start, and the other part is you have to run your router into the soundbar if I was reading it all right.
8. Now my new soundbar broadcasts its own Wi-Fi network for all my neighbors to see, and I can't do anything about it.
9. Again the sound bar itself is amazing, however this app is completely pointless with its connection problems. The soundbar itself is great.
10. The process to set up doesn't work smoothly and when it comes to finally connecting to my wifi router.
11. Hopeless. This app took 3 years off my life in 2 hours! So pissed off it ask to make sure bar says setup wifi on check 2.
