1. They aren't trust worthy.Refuses to find satellites unless a place the phone actually on a satellite 🛰️It's impossible to subscribe on the APP what can I do for subscribe to have access to all features?....... Update: the developer promptly contact me to STOP the APP on Android settings and the issue was solved so I'll test on the boat this weekend and than give the final review.A perfect GPS marine interface. The interface looks good nice layout and easy to read location finding was instant And responds fast I haven't been Saling with it yet but looks promisingNice looking interface but the map is locked to an overview of Africa.
2. I would be nice to see a compass heading around the Speed rather than showing the speed and a speedo.Well on the way to a 5 star app, like the ability to amend the settings to a boaters requirements, the option to set logging period, logging data for time, speed, location and weather.
3. It worked well reporting our speed, however the wind direction and speed sourced from OpenWeatherMap at the beginning of our journey did not update at all based on the changing conditions or our location.
4. Edit: 8th Feb 22 - With the new update and the ability to export as plain text this logging app is now well worthy of 5 stars.Purchases 1month subscription for the app which worked amazing for a short period.
5. It has served its purpose admirably, providing me with a complete overview of the route, distance, and speed, while also allowing me to take notes and save logs on the same route.
6. Is this supposed to update? The interface is nice, however the heading is hard to read when sitting a distance from the device.
7. But recently it keeps closing down immediately upon opening and I have a feeling after (numerous) reports I've made the developers aren't taking it seriously.
8. Slow to updates speed, keeps closing as well.
9. The Mariner Boat GPS and Logbook app has been a reliable companion during my four long trips between Malta and Sicily.
10. Couple of small issues found and passed to developer's with a few future suggests.
11. I verified in the OpenWeatherMap app that what it was reporting was different from when our journey started.
