1. Tried on both Android and iOS device with the same result.To all who have the need for Full control and access to there electronic devices.Not able to view all support requests that I can view using the webportal.Downloaded this.

2. Now I have to waste more time uninstalling.When ever open application it's asking for credential..cant log inUselessI'm not able to see the logs neither can i update any Service Request... :(Doesn't work.

3. I am able to authenticate to the app without issue, but it doesn't show me any of my information.

4. Then asked me to sign up I was told I needed to give my phone number and address.

5. Cannot authenticate to the service.

6. No support tickets, nothing.

7. I don't think soWon't let me login.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My VMware Issues

1. Fix My VMware Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My VMware: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My VMware App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My VMware" » Open My VMware » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My VMware » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My VMware app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My VMware servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My VMware" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My VMware app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My VMware might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My VMware. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My VMware then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My VMware not working


2. Fix My VMware Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My VMware be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My VMware not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My VMware may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
