US Foods Customer Insights

1. will randomly freeze or crash during orders, won't open, and items will randomly add and delete themselves from the order.

2. We love US Foods, but this app still needs some serious work.Give a little more slack when it comes to the spelling or verbage of searched items.

3. Can't add or delete except on a laptop or pc?? Yea, that's what we carry around the kitchen.Great for ordering on the fly! love the bar code feature.

4. This is one of the most frustrating apps I have ever used.Complicated reopening existing order to add items.

10. But one feature that I've seen work on Apple phones does NOT work on my Android.

11. That is the feature that shows a map with the truck location on the delivery page.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix US Foods Issues

1. Fix US Foods Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart US Foods: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the US Foods App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "US Foods" » Open US Foods » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for US Foods » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear US Foods app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from US Foods servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "US Foods" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check US Foods app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, US Foods might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall US Foods. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall US Foods then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing US Foods not working


2. Fix US Foods Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make US Foods be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to US Foods not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, US Foods may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
