Why should I report an Issue with ARRL Events?

1. other than that this is one super app.This app asks for a ridiculous set of permissions - you want to read my contacts? Find my accounts? Look at my files? I understand that sometimes there are reasonable explanations for why an app requests scary-sounding permissions.

2. You enter your data and it responds that you don't have an internet connection, even though you do have connectivity.Works better so far this year (2023) except you still can't get a profile pic to save.

3. Prize drawing updates were a little slow, but I suspect that was a data supply problem and not an app problem.

4. one, tried to bring up maps for the inside vendor buildings (floor plans), on two tries I got the error "floorplans not found".

5. I tried app today and password problem was fixed and I was able to log in and sync with iOS device.Fantastic app.

6. also, when adding a personal pic to the profile it doesn't save the pic one just took, tried at least twice to set a pic but got the same result so gave up for now.

7. Our only use for the app while in Dayton was to help identify the prizes so we would not have to keep walking to the ONE CROWDED building to see the monitors where the prizes are listed.

8. The show doesn't start fo two days - very valuable assistant.Presently, it's not working.

9. But, that did not work in reverse.great app so far, used it for the first time tonight just to get a feel for how it works, like the interface, clean, easy to get around.

10. Only displayed the numbers for the first prize drawing and then wouldn't update.

11. Totally puzzled as even the people taking tickets in Dayton told us it was only working for iPhones and not Androids.

1. Fix ARRL Events Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ARRL Events: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ARRL Events App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ARRL Events" » Open ARRL Events » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ARRL Events » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ARRL Events app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ARRL Events servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ARRL Events" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ARRL Events app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ARRL Events might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ARRL Events. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ARRL Events then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ARRL Events not working

2. Fix ARRL Events Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ARRL Events be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ARRL Events not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ARRL Events may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
