1. Five stars all the way!It works well before but lately it keeps logging... Can't seem to find where to fix my issues Day 1&2 things works perfectly then now it's not automatically signing me out on Uber or Lyft when I accepted a ride , I got lots of declined requests because of this.... Then before just 1 click on the shortcut it sets up on its own... Now I have to turn on and off the up many times before I make it to work... Sometimes navigation voice delayed or no voice at all...Works great most of the time, but occasionally will glitch and not turn the other app off.

2. Reasons for this is it worked pretty well at first but now it's not automatically accepting the trips and also have had to manually turn off the apps from time to time.

3. Giving credit where its due it does try how ever the maco that runs to turn lyft off, is hitting just a touch to high and needs to be dropped a hair.

4. But since I use split screen all the time, I could just easily turn the other off manually.

5. All you have to do is turn it on and watch how it opens uber and lyft.

6. It is not perfect, as there were times it accept a ride on one, it doesn't turn off the other.

7. Everything works just as it should except it does not turn lyft off and on.

8. if you manually put lyft on, it would turn it off like normal, but would not turn back on.

9. I really love the concept of this app over all just need to clean up the bugs and then I will write a long term review.I do Uber and Lyft.

10. also, uber will not turn off!! have to restart the phone to get it off (possibility a problem with the uber app itself?).

11. twice it didnt turn off the app that didnt get the trip and twice I had to accept the trip manually.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Ride Companion Issues

1. Fix Ride Companion Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Ride Companion: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Ride Companion App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ride Companion" » Open Ride Companion for Uber and Lyft Drivers » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ride Companion » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Ride Companion for Uber and Lyft Drivers app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ride Companion servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ride Companion for Uber and Lyft Drivers" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Ride Companion app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ride Companion might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Ride Companion. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ride Companion then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ride Companion not working


2. Fix Ride Companion Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ride Companion be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ride Companion not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ride Companion may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
