1. Basically useless! Update - app now "fixed"! Don't drive too fast on golf cart or you will "out run" your position on the app! Would be easier to follow if the golf cart map would rotate with your direction (like google maps does)!Maps, whether the overall map or the individual house map, don't work most of the time.

2. Google maps bicycle route shows the golf cart trails and works way better but you have to google the square name and then click directions, but still, directions are way better on google maps.

3. Well, as another gentleman said, all you get with golf car directions is "routing error"! Even on wifi at home it doesn't work.

4. Have to use phone with no golf cart directions.I just downloaded the app.

5. Select golf cart directions and all you get is a message saying "route error".

6. Four months ago, they said an update would be coming, haven't seen it yet!!the app works really well but the biggest problem that needs to be cleared up is WVLG live streaming of the radio station.

7. Can't do directions from a chosen location, only can do it from the phone's current GPS location.

8. Mainly for the golf car directions from my home to local businesses so as to avoid any "issues".

9. Other than that this app is fantastic.the radio station streaming plays for just a few minutes then stops, why? Is it timed to only stay on a few minutes.

10. I am directionally challenged so I set my phone screen to not rotate as I turned the phone and I can follow the direction on my phone just like I do on my car gps.

11. My only question is the blue triangle on the gps... I believe it is pointing to the north but being directionally challenged am not certain!It's says go right when you go left and says go left when you go right.

1. Fix The Villages App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart The Villages App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the The Villages App App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "The Villages App" » Open The Villages App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for The Villages App » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear The Villages App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from The Villages App servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The Villages App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check The Villages App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The Villages App might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall The Villages App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The Villages App then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing The Villages App not working

2. Fix The Villages App Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make The Villages App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to The Villages App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, The Villages App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
