TrailMapps Customer Insights

1. Would give it 5 stars if it was updated as much as the iPhone version.Bought this to assist with finding some trails over the Thanksgiving weekend only to find the app still has "coming 2014" banners and alot of trails are missing.

2. Thorough trail descriptions are helpful as well.It doesn't seem to allow for location with Android nougatMany trails either have no names or aren't on the map.

3. I've had this app for 2 years and am unhappy that it's never been updated and other parts of this app that were "coming in 2014" are still not available.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TrailMapps Issues

1. Fix TrailMapps Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TrailMapps: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TrailMapps App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TrailMapps" » Open TrailMapps: Whistler » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TrailMapps » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TrailMapps: Whistler app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TrailMapps servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TrailMapps: Whistler" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TrailMapps app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TrailMapps might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TrailMapps. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TrailMapps then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TrailMapps not working


2. Fix TrailMapps Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TrailMapps be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TrailMapps not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TrailMapps may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
