AT&T Navigator Customer Insights

1. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because if you are on the AT&T network, it would make more sense to not need to have paid for a monthly subscription, and also because the basic mode, that is free of charges to utilize, but only if you do not agree to the upgrade charging your phones billing account, does not use verbally (spoken) directions, to assist the device owner, or individual using the application for navigation, to hear the directions; you must look at the device you are using to see the navigational directions in this application, which I personally feel is a contradiction to the "It Can Wait" campaign.it used to work great.

2. I have never used this app I only use Google maps, so when I ask for e-mail verification or some kind a verification where I would have agreed to the monthly charge they stated that sometimes it comes through text messaging so if you click on the link that is your agreement for your monthly payments.

3. the past couple of months have been horrible...it gives incorrect directions and can never tell where I am, no matter which city or state! If it doesn't improve by the end of thr month, II'm cancelling the service because it's worthless at this pointIt's a good app.

4. Also, the Last updated date 12/03/19 shown on the Google Play update screen is incorrect.

5. If google maps requires this app inorder to do all it does for me then great.

6. Otherwise I personally have zero use for thos app as Google maps provides all I need w just the one app.

7. I just got off the phone with AT&t after finding out that I've had a 2-year reoccurring charge for this application.

8. It should be the day the update was created.I use google maps.

9. At least I got a $30 credit out the $240+ I already paid.I like that it gives you the location you are currently located in, upon opening the application for usage.

10. I have traveled from the midwest to the Pacific, to the Atlantic, and to Florida using AT&T Navigator and have had very little problems.

11. i don't want this app to open up by itself nor do i want to be charged for any unintentional operation of this app & the charges already appearing on my billing (2 months).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AT&T Navigator Issues

1. Fix AT&T Navigator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AT&T Navigator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AT&T Navigator App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AT&T Navigator" » Open AT&T Navigator: Maps, Traffic » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AT&T Navigator » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AT&T Navigator: Maps, Traffic app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AT&T Navigator servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AT&T Navigator: Maps, Traffic" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AT&T Navigator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AT&T Navigator might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AT&T Navigator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AT&T Navigator then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AT&T Navigator not working


2. Fix AT&T Navigator Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AT&T Navigator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AT&T Navigator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AT&T Navigator may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
