1. The English could use some minor tweaking here and there but otherwise well worth purchasing.Not seeing many medium formats in the list and when you add your own camera it doesn't allow you to input accurate low shutter speed time options (some camera go to 60mins!) You just have to enter a shutter speed faster than 80seconds.

2. To avoid wading through the camera and lens database, the program allows you to identify up to 3 cameras and 6 lenses as favorites, making switching between the favorites fast and easy.

3. I don't use it exclusively, but it has features that are better than other planning apps, such as getting quick glimpses of the moon cycle, blue hour and Milky Way visibility.

4. It came with the Olympus lenses of the DSLR 14 - 54 and the m43s 12-40 f/2.8, I had to enter all my other lenses, including my small fleet of Canon FL legacy lenses.

5. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of information it contains and being able to set it up for your particular camera is great feature.

6. You'll know what I mean once your trying to get the perfect moon shot (or any other shot) when suddenly the weather changes!!This is like a Swiss army knife for photography.

7. Now how many apps in the play store have that! I've been a casual photographer for almost 2 decades but it's still nice to have a quick reference like this in stead of trying things in the field.

8. Great app with all sorts of useful tools built in such as a bubble level, flashlight as well as a planner to track the sun & moon with golden-hour, twilight etc.

9. I purchased Photographer's Companion Pro for the dof feature, that in itself is worth the small amount I paid.

10. It allows you to enter cameras and lenses not already in the database (and you will probably have to do that.

11. Video tutorials would be a plus for an app with this level of depth.I really like the DOF calculation and the flash photography calcs.

1. Fix Photographer's companion Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Photographer's companion Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Photographer's companion Pro App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Photographer's companion Pro" » Open Photographer's companion Pro » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Photographer's companion Pro » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Photographer's companion Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Photographer's companion Pro servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Photographer's companion Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Photographer's companion Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Photographer's companion Pro might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Photographer's companion Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Photographer's companion Pro then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Photographer's companion Pro not working

2. Fix Photographer's companion Pro Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Photographer's companion Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Photographer's companion Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Photographer's companion Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
