1. And what is the point of live data streaming if you can't use it while the vehicle is in motion?would have been more*'s but outof the first eight times ive tried it so far, ive only been able to get it to connect to my phone one time.

2. I had already spent some money upgrading it but getting the other options free was nice except not being able to use it when half of the problems need to be observed while the vehicle is being driven set this thing back into the Stone age.

3. They will eventually disable it when you update it and it never worked great when new.Good thing this was just a quick little back up code checker I use when I don't feel like getting out my Snap on scanner.

4. Making this so it can't be used while vehicle is moving made the live data and this thing pretty much useless or just an over priced code checker.

5. Now, the features are free, with the caveat of the unit no longer allowing the vehicle to be moving while reading livestream data.

6. The limited amount of time given to pair or connect with the device is absolutely stupid, not allowing you to troubleshoot connection problems.

7. I couldn't give this thing away now.As others have said, the app won't connect to the device, even after the phone has connected via Bluetooth.

9. as for the update disabling the app while the vehicle is in motion I'm going to run in airplane mode so the gps is off and see if it worksThing is basically garbage.

10. I can no longer connect via bluetooth and I've reinstalled the app, repaired the scanner, cleared the cache, etc... I'm using a Galaxy S9+ and my truck is a 2015 Ram.

11. If you have purchased the uscan device and are about to download the app, take it back to where you bought it and get a refund ASAP!!!I too was forced into this software update, and now my scanner is a brick.

1. Fix U-Scan Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart U-Scan: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the U-Scan App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "U-Scan" » Open U-Scan » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for U-Scan » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear U-Scan app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from U-Scan servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "U-Scan" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check U-Scan app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, U-Scan might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall U-Scan. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall U-Scan then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing U-Scan not working

2. Fix U-Scan Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make U-Scan be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to U-Scan not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, U-Scan may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
