1. Problem is nothing happens, it just takes me back to the select a robot to connect to screen... Read another comment from a user, who like me, purchased this when it first released... easy for Sphero to say you're no longer supporting a product, another person has purchased already.I'm increasing this to 4 stars because I'm still annoyed the app doesn't have all the controls for the bb-8 toy that the bb-8 app did but my little sister still loves chasing it around.

2. My child can't watch the learning videos on his devices unless I unlock full access to YouTube which is not great for young children.I have the same connectivity problems with my BB 8 robot (which I received as a gift only five years ago) that others have reported here.

3. I do not fault Sphereo for discontinuing the Star Wars line of robot toys, but I do fault them for subjecting the robot toys that people already own to forced obsolescence.Good. However of late I can't connect to the original ollie even on a full charge and while the charging cord is connected.

4. Don't go the Apple way.It's really good for my ollie blackside, and it works perfect! Thank you!Everything is great, but really wish there was a virtual simulation of the bot that represents what you code, if you dont have a bot on hand.I absolutely love this app, but there are things that you should add.

1. Fix Sphero Edu Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Sphero Edu: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Sphero Edu App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sphero Edu" » Open Sphero Edu » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sphero Edu » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Sphero Edu app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sphero Edu servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sphero Edu" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Sphero Edu app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sphero Edu might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Sphero Edu. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sphero Edu then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sphero Edu not working

2. Fix Sphero Edu Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sphero Edu be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sphero Edu not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sphero Edu may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
