1. I probably use this app at least once a week and will continue to rely on it heavily so thank you to the developers!!Just don’t forget your Master Password!I paid for this app and after a phone malfunction I had to restore my apps on a new phone... EVERYTHING WAS GONE! JUST GONE LIKE I NEVER EVEN USED THE APP! I'm Still trying to remember what my passwords are and what accounts I had active etc not to mention all my Notes per each account! I have cancelled my subscription but still paid for the year I never got to use it.This app worked for a "short" period of time, once paid for it, logged off, then later logging back in, the password to input to get into the app stated soes not match, this is bullsh*t, same password created to login originally and states no match, that is the password used, no way to forget/remember or reset password to even use this app, stole my money, don't waste yo...

Now when I get an alert to change an expiring password, I don’t break out in a cold sweat wondering what should I come up with for a strong password but not too difficult for me to remember, I actually look forward password creation!.. with this amazing app I can automatically create 20+ character passwords that I (or anyone else) would never in a million years recall.

3. Still salty about this.🤬🤬🤬🤬Paid for it, was great at first but when my phone broke and was replaced I logged in to get my passwords so I could set up all my stuff it was all gone would not restore and I haven't used it since even though I paid for the year.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HidePass Issues

1. Fix HidePass Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HidePass: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HidePass App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HidePass" » Open HidePass - Password Manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HidePass » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HidePass - Password Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HidePass servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HidePass - Password Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HidePass app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HidePass might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HidePass. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HidePass then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HidePass not working


2. Fix HidePass Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HidePass be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HidePass not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HidePass may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I loaded the Hidepass app and took some time to get all my passwords collected to ender, but now I can't get into the app. I put in the password I was sure I set up, but it doesn't work. I don't see any option to reset my password. How can I get this resolved?
