1Password Customer Insights

1. Otherwise, it's been a good reliable app.I gave 1P a shot after years of being a paid LP user (thank you for FINALLY supporting hardware keys...it's what pushed me over the edge, along with LP's slow worsening), and it's great! Takes a little getting used to, but it's an upgrade over most people's bad password policies.

2. I can't go back to writing new passwords onto a very scribbled out piece of paper! Seems foolish!I have loved 1Password since I first used in a few years ago, and highly recommend it for accuracy, ease of use, the auto-fill feature.

3. Thank you!Unfortunately, this app changed from a one-time purchase that was able to sync with a private file hosted on 3rd party services (like Dropbox), to requiring a paid subscription for a 1password account.

4. The desktop app is good as well, however I find myself using the web browser extensions most often and it's incredibly frustrating to have to type your password in every time you close an instance of the browser and reopen it.

5. I'm literally trying to export my passwords to a different manager because 1Password is so frustrating to use, and the desktop app is the only one of THREE that I don't have.

6. The desktop is slow to respond after the update to 7 as well.As our digital connections get more complex and less secure, it is a must to have a password keeper.

7. To make matters worse, if you upgrade (as recommended by the dialog "for better compatibility"), you can lose the ability to sync with your old files, effectively strong-arming you into the new service with recurring payments.

8. It's too bad, because the original app worked well.I've been using 1Password for almost 15 years.

9. Its not just the passwords but the Secure Notes, personal info like Credit Cards auto fill, SSN, etc.

10. Coders shouldn't be forced to design user interfaces, and this is why.Simple and Efficient! This is a must for online security risk mitigation and beyond.

11. The customer service is THE BEST! I was amazed at the prompt response, the friendly assistant, the detailed instructions and walking me through each step to success.
