Why should I report an Issue with SAM - Scan Attendance Manager?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Like, in absenteeism report, the students should be sorted by class; summary of class report should show the names of the students who are present/absent not the number itself; and lastly, the reports can be printed directly to excel file.

2. I wish that multiple people can scan attendance and sync across apps but I know this app is meant for small groups.

3. Do consider LAN or local installation for locations that lack proper internet connectionIt would be better if you could provide checkbox for classes in students profile.

4. It's a great app if you don't need an in and out scanning ability.This is one useful app when it comes to knowing the top 5 early birds.

5. Literally the best attendance app I've come across that is free and is the only one that is able to scan our student ID barcodes.

7. I have deployed it in our small school for students and staff dinning checkin.

8. For now, just 3.what a useful and very easy app for managing attendance for my employees and student.

9. Please update the app to improve scrolling and the entry of names of pupils should be added with symbols like a dash and also please disable auto capitalization.

10. It would also be nice if there was a little notification that let's you know everyone is accounted for instead of going into the attendance report.

1. Fix SAM Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SAM: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SAM App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SAM" » Open SAM - Scan Attendance Manager » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SAM » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SAM - Scan Attendance Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SAM servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SAM - Scan Attendance Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SAM app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SAM might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SAM. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SAM then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SAM not working

2. Fix SAM Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SAM be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SAM not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SAM may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
