1. Somehow this apps always on notification that it has improves the poke go plus/gotcha connectivity and has a lot of additional features you may likeBest app of its kind everything you could wish for (apart from patching out the auto disconnect these devices have they should just connect once and stay connected forever) however one issue is I can't seem to find where I can choose my notifications go all of them are causing my phone to vibrate and now my gotcha has stopped vibrating entirely and wish I could choose if a caught Pokemon vibrated on my watch and a disconnect vibrates my phone.

2. Tried clearing cache and data, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, all to no avail.Amazing app,the gotcha wouldn't work with screen lock before I had this app, I tried using android settings to get rid of all the restrictions but it still didn't work.

The battle helper is an interesting concept and I would like to see it being developed, however I'm unsure how good additional features can feasibly be, given the amount of bugs and weird and uncalculatable timings pvp currently has.I actually always use this when I use my Pokemon go+ at this point, I wonder why Niantic won't just do this or enable a setting for it.

4. Don't mind that it disconnects regularly, but it has taken up to 25 minutes to reconnect (restart app, connect with phone bluetooth vs in app bluetooth, restart phone, hard reset Poke Ball, rinse repeat).

5. With a few modified phone settings, this thing helps it run super nicely!The app has been mostly great for me for over an year, however in the last few hours whenever I try to open it, it instantly stops and closes.

6. However, on Android 12, the "dynamic notification" doesn't work, meaning the status will also show when the plus is not connected.

7. My phones battery gets depleted vary fast now.An extremely nice addition for any Pokemon: GO player, even if they dont use the GoPlus.

8. The autocatcher boost worked very well until recent updates: 1.1.10, allegedly to support newer phones, broke it for older phones instead.

9. Suggestion: would it be possible to add a daily gifts opened count?Not sure why it has so many extra useless and unnecessary features.

10. I've also used this app with a gotcha evolve which brought the average connection time from 15-20 to 45-hr.

11. Most times you don't find out till you check the game and discover the gotcha disconnected.great app.

  3. Clear GO Companion - Go Plus Helper app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GO Companion servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GO Companion - Go Plus Helper" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GO Companion app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GO Companion might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GO Companion. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GO Companion then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GO Companion not working


2. Fix GO Companion Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GO Companion be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GO Companion not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GO Companion may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
