1. DevOps Companion is a beautiful app to manage your projects in Azure DevOps (formerly VSTF / VSO) from your phone!
2. Are you a Product Manager, an Engineering lead or a Stakeholder in a project?
3. This is what you need, to track and update it from your phone.
4. New features (Pipelines, Repos, etc. ) are coming soon. Have feedback?
5. We're constantly working to improve the app.
6. Email us at devops-companion@outlook.
7. If you like the app, support it by writing a review and giving us 5 stars!
1. Has everything else I need except our custom work item types aren't available when adding a new workitem.Nice app, but it obviously has room to grow still.
2. Unfortunately, pipelines isn't even on your road map, and i think this is the most useful thing.Does not support custom fields (only shows default fields, even some we hid).
3. For instance I customised Bug work item to show two new text fields "Actual results" and "Expected results" but they don't show.
4. The trading was so low I tried it last, but take my word for it - it's the best one on the play storeWe require Security Keys for sign in, the redirection flow for the SSO experience doesn't appear to be using Chrome so I can't authenticate with the IdP.
5. What i need is a mobile window onto the pipelines, with status and errors, download logs, and the ability to turn builds on and off in a way that's easier than using the website on my phone - otherwise there's no point having the app for me.
6. The project view needs a type in filter for people with access to many projects Basically unusable in it's current state for meWay better than anything out there! Would love to see a dark mode.
7. For example, it does not recognize custom work item types.
8. Also, please support getting a link from a work item so you can share it in an email.
9. I can put in issues and work items and manage my project from my phone.
10. For now it's a good way to access the discussion on a story but not editing more than the state.I can see where this app is going and so far it's quite positive.
11. Reach out directly if you want more info. Not all the projects I have access to are show to choose from.
