Trace Customer Insights

1. It could at least email me or notify me when the status changes or something.This is awful if I could leave a half star I would, I need supplies and have been trying to use this app for 3 weeks for supply refill! It says to try again later every time I try to use it! Very bad for us depending on it to get us our supplies!!!! And the customer service is a joke.

2. Notifications don't say that they need me to update my credit card and status on order says pending.

3. At least it gives you the phone number for customer service.Frustrating. I downloaded the app hoping that it would make ordering supplies for my husband easier.

4. The only successful way to re-order is to respond to their reminder email, and even that feels sketchy until the order surprisingly arrives.This app is not good.

5. It only shows the date when the order was entered, and there's no tracking info when it finally ships.

6. One of my accounts sorts it by date, another account they are in random order.

7. It said, 'pending' for four days, then when the app said that the order has finally shipped, I called after six days and they said it hadn't even shipped yet.

8. I've been waiting a month and a half since our order was entered while they waited for paperwork to process.

9. It's not intuitive and because it fails to work as intended, does not make keeping track of my supplies easier.

10. Can't change payment options requiting me to call in and give my credit card number to a random support person.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Trace Issues

1. Fix Trace Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Trace: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Trace App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Trace" » Open Trace by Solara » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Trace » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Trace by Solara app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Trace servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Trace by Solara" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Trace app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Trace might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Trace. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Trace then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Trace not working


2. Fix Trace Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Trace be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Trace not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Trace may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
